@ZoeeeWutt Sometimes you just have to let people live their dreams even if you think it's a mistake. You don't want him "blaming" you for the rest of his life because you "ruined his chances." Let him pursue it..if he fails, then he will move on with his life...but there's always a chance he might success (small chance, but it does happen). Be supportive without giving up your dreams in the process.
