No prob. I can give you more detail of the area if I knew the parts you were considering. One other thing. Kent is actually better than what I gave it, just look for a place on the hill not the valley, they have some levy issues in Auburn, so theirs a chance flood water may work its way to Kent. Just so you know in case they give you a unbelievable deal on a house or something in that area...get that flood insurance.

the cost of living varies. The closer you are to Downtown the higher it goes, but thats pretty normal everywhere. Here is a good way to look at it, and try not to take too much offense to what I will say, but wherever there is the most diversity or police (less Whites), its cheaper...LOL so, West Seattle is low, Bellevue is high, Redmond is high; South Seattle, low; Downtown is high, Auburn, high; Renton, middle; Kent , low; Burien, low.plus we have one of the highest taxes too, 8.6%

Seattle sucks. Why do to think Kurt Cobain killed himself?

i would say if you would rent it's about 540 dollars-800 dollars but it really depends what you rent,if you want to buy a house it's like something around 5,000...or 10000-250000 dollars
