Bing Crosby, Quincy Jones, Ray Charles (was discovered in Seattle, not from it), Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Heart, Sonics, Soundgarten, Candlebox, SirMixAlot, Foo Fighters, Modest Mouse, Band of Horses, Death Cab for Cutie, Fleet Foxes, and a SHITLOAD more, that's just the very top of my head. I'm not even from Seattle and I know a ton of bands/musicians from there... C'mon Blake, you're talented, but that was a piss poor excuse. Seattle's like, top 5 in the US at producing talent.
